IZYSMILE PRIVACY POLICY

Izysmile and our partners respect your privacy.

We ask that you carefully read this privacy policy to understand how your personal data is collected, processed, and stored when you use the Izysmile website, accessible at https://www.izysmile.com.

All personal data collected on this website is processed under the responsibility of Izidor Nzanga, registered with the Lille Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 893147447.

Under applicable data protection regulations, Izidor Nzanga is therefore the data controller.

This privacy policy explains:

  • How Izysmile uses your personal data
  • How Izysmile shares your personal data
  • How Izysmile protects your personal data
  • Where Izysmile hosts and transfers your personal data
  • How you can exercise your rights regarding your personal data
  • Updates to this privacy policy

I. How Izysmile Uses Your Personal Data

Izysmile may use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create your customer account on this website
  • To manage orders for products and/or services
  • To publish and manage reviews left on products and/or services ordered through this website
  • To send you our newsletter following your subscription
  • To respond to inquiries submitted through our website

Most of the processing listed above is necessary to fulfill the contract with Izysmile when you use our website to order the products and/or services available for sale on the site.

Processing your personal data to send you our newsletter, however, is based solely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. If you do not consent to receiving our newsletter, this will not prevent you from creating a customer account or placing orders on our website.

II. How Izysmile Shares Your Personal Data

Within Izysmile, and in relation to each processing purpose, your personal data is collected, processed, and stored by authorized Izysmile personnel, solely within the scope of their respective responsibilities — namely, our customer service, marketing, and IT teams.

We do not share your personal data with other companies, organizations, or individuals, except under the following circumstances:

(1) Sharing with your prior consent: After obtaining your consent, Izysmile will share the information you've authorized with the specific third parties or categories of third parties disclosed at the time your consent was collected.

(2) Sharing with our service providers: Izysmile may also disclose your information to companies that provide services for us or on our behalf. These service providers include companies offering IT services — such as our hosting provider or email service provider — delivery services for our products, or marketing activities carried out on our behalf. These service providers may use your information solely to provide services on behalf of Izysmile.

(3) In fulfillment of a legal obligation: Izysmile may share your information as required by law and regulation, to resolve legal disputes, or as required by judicial or administrative authorities under the law.

Izysmile ensures the legality of any sharing of personal data through data processing agreements with the companies with which your personal data is shared, requiring them to comply with this privacy policy and to implement appropriate security and confidentiality measures when processing personal data.

III. How Izysmile Protects Your Personal Data

Izysmile places great importance on the security of your personal data and has adopted industry-standard practices to protect it and prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss.

We have also taken appropriate precautions to ensure our hosting provider maintains the security and confidentiality of your data, in particular to prevent it from being altered, damaged, or disclosed to unauthorized persons.

Izysmile also applies the following organizational measures:

(1) We take reasonable and feasible measures to ensure that the personal data collected is minimal and relevant to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

(2) We retain your personal data only for as long as is strictly necessary for the purpose of processing, unless retention is required or permitted by law. For example, we retain data related to your orders for the period required by law for accounting record-keeping purposes — up to a maximum of 10 years from the relevant fiscal year.

(3) We implement access control mechanisms to ensure that only authorized personnel can access your personal data.

In the event of a personal data breach, Izysmile will comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements regarding the notification of data breaches to the relevant supervisory authorities and/or affected individuals.

IV. Where Izysmile Hosts and Transfers Your Personal Data

Your personal data is hosted within our database's hosting infrastructure.

Where such transfers occur, we ensure that these transfers of personal data are governed in accordance with applicable regulations to guarantee an adequate level of data protection — either through an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission, or through legal instruments such as data transfer agreements incorporating the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

For any inquiries regarding the recipients of, or transfers of, data we make outside the European Union, please contact us at the addresses listed in the "How to Contact Us" section below.

V. How You Can Exercise Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to set guidelines regarding the fate of your data after your death, and the right to data portability.

You may contact us at any time at the addresses listed in the "How to Contact Us" section below to exercise your data protection rights under the terms set out by applicable regulations. Please indicate which right you wish to exercise, along with all necessary details so that we can respond to your request.

These rights are exercised in accordance with applicable regulations.

  • Right of access means you may ask us at any time whether we process personal data relating to you and, if so, to be informed of which personal data is concerned and the characteristics of the processing involved.
  • Right of rectification means you may request that we correct your personal data where it is inaccurate. You may also request that incomplete personal data be completed, to the extent relevant to the purpose of the processing in question.
  • Right of erasure means you may request the deletion of your personal data, notably when:
    • Its retention is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected;
    • Your personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, you wish to withdraw that consent, and there is no other legal basis justifying the processing;
    • You have objected to the processing of your personal data and wish, as a result, for it to be deleted;
    • Your personal data has been processed unlawfully;
    • Your personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation under European Union or French law.
  • Right to restriction means you may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data:
    • When you contest the accuracy of your personal data, for a period allowing us to verify its accuracy;
    • When, following processing found to be non-compliant, you prefer restriction of processing over complete erasure of your personal data;
    • When we no longer need your personal data for processing purposes, but you still need it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
    • When you have objected to the processing of your personal data and wish for processing to be restricted while we verify whether the legitimate grounds you invoke are justified.
    Restriction of processing means that the processing of your personal data will be limited solely to storage. We will no longer carry out any other operation on the personal data in question.
  • Right to object means you may object to the processing of your personal data where such processing is based on Izysmile's legitimate interest. This right may be exercised provided you can justify a legitimate reason relating to your particular situation. We will then cease the processing in question, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds justifying its continuation in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Right to set guidelines regarding the fate of your data after your death allows you to provide instructions regarding the retention, erasure, and disclosure of your personal data following your death.
  • Right to data portability means you may ask us, under the conditions set out by applicable regulations, to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to you — or to ask us to transmit it directly to a third party of your choosing, where this is legally and technically possible.

Where we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you also have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at the addresses listed in the "How to Contact Us" section, or by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each of our communications.

However, withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

VI. Updates to This Privacy Policy

Izysmile reserves the right to modify or update this privacy policy, in whole or in part, at any time, due to changes in applicable data protection regulations or in the data processing we carry out.

Any material change to this privacy policy will be notified to you by email, where you have provided us with a valid email address, and will be published on our website. We recommend that you review this privacy policy regularly to stay fully informed of our commitments regarding the security and protection of your personal data.

VII. How to Contact Us

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact us by visiting our Contact Us page or by emailing info@izysmile.com.

If you are not satisfied with Izysmile's response to a request to exercise your rights under Section V above, or if you wish to report a violation of applicable data protection regulations, you have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) by mail (CNIL – 3 Place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07) or via its website (www.cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of the country in which you habitually reside or work.
